Empowering growth and inner peace through counselling

“The wound is the place where the light enters you” — Rumi

Welcome

Reaching out for support takes courage. If you’ve made it this far, it already tells me something important: that you’re ready to talk, or at least thinking about it. I’m a counsellor who helps people trying to make sense of life when it feels uncertain, stuck, or just too heavy to carry alone. I keep things simple and human. Our conversations aren’t about fixing you; they’re about understanding what’s really going on and finding a bit of space inside it.

I’ve lived in many different countries, so I know what it’s like to start over, to lose your bearings for a while, to find your place again, and to figure out who you are in the middle of it all. That’s why I often work with people going through change or transition, finding their footing, rebuilding or wondering where they belong. I offer online sessions in English, so wherever you are in the world, we can meet in a space that feels familiar and comfortable.

Therapy, for me, is about being alongside someone while they start to hear themselves more clearly. Sometimes that means talking; sometimes it’s about noticing what’s happening underneath, in the body, in the quiet, in the moments that can say more than words. There’s no single right way to do this work, we go at your pace, following what feels real and alive in the moment.

If you’re not sure what you need, that’s okay. Most people aren’t when they begin. We start with what’s here: the confusion, the questions, the hope that things could be different, and we go from there. The work is about finding steadiness, understanding, and a way to feel more comfortable in your own skin.

Alongside my counselling practice, I also teach at the Academy for Coaching and Counselling in The Netherlands. Supporting new counsellors as they find their own voice in this work keeps me grounded and inspired.
